Copy Quick Tip | Copy Design

copy quick tips

Here's the easiest way to make your copy *pop* without changing a single word.

It's called copy design

This is where you infuse a variety of colored text, bolded words, underliningitalics, and ALL CAPS.

You can even use entirely different fonts.

For example, take a look at how different these two sentences sound:

Now is the time to finally lose those stubborn pounds.

vs.....

Now is the time to finally LOSE those stubborn pounds.

✏️ Copy Quick Tip ✏️

Make your copy *look* like it sounds.

There's no right or wrong way to do copy design, but here are a few guidelines to get you started:

  • Use italics to show a conversational response. Why would you do this? So it sounds like an answer.
  • Use bolded words to add emphasis. This is powerful
  • Use underlining to highlight important words. That way people will know what matters
  • Use different fonts to keep people engaged. This is especially helpful on websites & sales pages.

The best thing about copy design is that you don't have to know anything about copywriting to start putting it into action.
